By car

SugarFactory is exceptionally easy to reach by car, situated strategically between Amsterdam and Haarlem. Located near the A4, A5, A9, and A10 motorways, the venue is just 15 minutes from Schiphol Airport and less than a 40-minute drive from Utrecht, Rotterdam, and The Hague. SugarFactory offers ample on-site parking for guests and organizers.

A4 from Den Haag / Schiphol
Follow the A4 toward Amsterdam. At the De Nieuwe Meer interchange, follow the signs for the A5 toward Haarlem/Alkmaar. Take the exit for the A200 toward Haarlem/Halfweg. Follow the signs for SugarCity/SugarFactory.

A9 from Amsterdam / Utrecht
Follow the A9 toward Haarlem/Alkmaar. At the Raasdorp interchange, follow the signs for the A5 toward Amsterdam/Haarlem. Take the exit for the A200 toward Halfweg/Haarlem. Follow the road into Halfweg and look for the SugarFactory entrance signs.

A10 (Amsterdam Ring) from North/East
From the A10, take the exit toward the A200 (Halfweg/Haarlem). Continue on the A200/N200 for approximately 5 minutes. The venue is located on your left as you enter Halfweg. Follow the dedicated parking signs for SugarFactory.

From Haarlem / Heemstede
Follow the N200/A200 (Amsterdamseveert) toward Amsterdam. As you enter Halfweg, the SugarFactory site will be clearly visible on your right. Follow the local signs to the main parking entrance.

By PUBLIC TRANSPORT

SugarFactory is exceptionally accessible by public transport, located directly across from the Halfweg-Zwanenburg railway station. This makes it a seamless journey for international guests and local visitors alike.

By Train The most efficient way to reach the venue is by train. You can travel directly to Station Halfweg-Zwanenburg from several major hubs:

  • From Amsterdam Central: A direct 10-minute train ride (runs 4 times per hour).

  • From Haarlem Station: A direct 8-minute train ride (runs 4 times per hour).

  • From Schiphol Airport: Take a train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk and switch to the local train (Sprinter) toward Haarlem. The total travel time is approximately 20 minutes.

Once you arrive at Station Halfweg-Zwanenburg, the SugarFactory entrance is a 1-minute walk away. Simply follow the pedestrian path toward the iconic industrial chimneys.

By Bus If you are traveling by bus, several lines stop within walking distance of the venue:

  • Bus 80 (Amsterdam-Zandvoort): Get off at the ‘Halfweg-Zwanenburg’ stop.

  • Bus 161 (Hoofddorp-Zwanenburg): Get off at the ‘Halfweg-Zwanenburg’ stop.
